How to Make Almond Cake
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy for about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the eggs one by one, beating well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond flour and baking powder. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients, followed by the whole milk and vanilla.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick. Allow to cool before removing from the pan.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.
