How to Make Beef Shawarma Hummus
- Rinse the chickpeas under cold water and drain well.
- In a food processor, combine the rinsed chickpeas, tahini, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, and olive oil. Process until smooth and creamy.
- Incorporate the cooked beef shawarma into the hummus. Pulse a few times until well blended.
- If the hummus feels too thick, gradually add a tablespoon of water and blend until desired consistency is achieved.
- Add a pinch of salt and more lemon juice if desired. Taste and adjust accordingly.
- Spoon the hummus into a serving bowl, sprinkle with toasted pine nuts, and drizzle with extra olive oil.
