  • 1 can canned chickpeas rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup cooked beef shawarma
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 cloves garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
To Taste
  • 1 pinch salt to enhance flavors
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons toasted pine nuts for garnish

How to Make Beef Shawarma Hummus
  1. Rinse the chickpeas under cold water and drain well.
  2. In a food processor, combine the rinsed chickpeas, tahini, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, and olive oil. Process until smooth and creamy.
  3. Incorporate the cooked beef shawarma into the hummus. Pulse a few times until well blended.
  4. If the hummus feels too thick, gradually add a tablespoon of water and blend until desired consistency is achieved.
  5. Add a pinch of salt and more lemon juice if desired. Taste and adjust accordingly.
  6. Spoon the hummus into a serving bowl, sprinkle with toasted pine nuts, and drizzle with extra olive oil.
