  • 1 lb Pork sausage or turkey sausage for lighter option
  • 2 cups Whole milk can substitute with dairy-free milk
  • 1 cup Shredded sharp cheddar cheese for topping
  • 4 Large eggs
For the Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • to taste Salt

Method
 

How to Make Biscuit Gravy Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until it's browned and crumbled for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the whole milk, garlic powder, and paprika. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  4. Cut the refrigerated biscuits into quarters and layer half of them in the greased baking dish, then pour half of the sausage gravy over this layer.
  5. Place the remaining biscuit pieces on top, followed by the rest of the gravy.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together the large eggs with salt and pepper, then pour this mixture evenly over the casserole. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
