How to Make Blue Cheese Walnut Thyme Puff Pastry Twirl
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  3. Spread crumbled blue cheese evenly over the pastry, then layer on chopped walnuts and fresh thyme.
  4. Roll the pastry tightly from one long edge into a log shape.
  5. Slice the log into 1-inch thick pieces and place each slice cut-side up on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush each twirl with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
