How to Make Brown Butter Sugar Cookie Banana Bread
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan to prevent sticking.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until golden and fragrant (about 5-7 minutes). Let it cool slightly.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a separate bowl until smooth but slightly chunky.
- Combine the mashed bananas with the browned butter, dark brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract and whisk well.
- Sift the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and optional ground cinnamon in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack and let cool before slicing.
