Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.

  3. Combine flour, baking powder, and shredded coconut in another bowl. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped cherries and pour everything into your prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
