How to Make Cinnamon Star Cookies

  3. Cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. Combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture gradually until blended.
  5. Chill the dough covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator for about an hour.
  6. Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick. Cut out shapes.
  7. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on wire rack.
  8. Dust cooled cookies with powdered sugar, and optionally with cinnamon.
