How to Make Cinnamon Star Cookies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
- Combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture gradually until blended.
- Chill the dough covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator for about an hour.
- Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick. Cut out shapes.
- Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Cool on wire rack.
- Dust cooled cookies with powdered sugar, and optionally with cinnamon.
