How to Make Creamy Crock Pot Chicken Marsala
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, sautéing until softened and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them evenly at the bottom of the crock pot.
- Transfer the sautéed mushroom mixture over the seasoned chicken, ensuring even distribution.
- Pour chicken broth and Marsala wine into the crock pot. Stir gently to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- About 10 minutes before serving, stir in the heavy cream (or half-and-half).
