  • 1 block Firm tofu drained and pressed
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
For the Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil for flavor

Method
 

How to Make Crispy Tofu
  1. Start by draining the firm tofu and pressing it between paper towels for 15–20 minutes. Cut into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Toss the cubed tofu in cornstarch until well-coated.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry the tofu cubes in batches until golden brown on all sides, about 3–5 minutes per side.
  5. Whisk together soy sauce, garlic powder, honey, and sesame oil, and drizzle over the fried tofu before serving.
