  • 1/2 cup Kalamata olives sliced

How to Make Flaky Fish Puttanesca
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté minced garlic in heated olive oil over medium heat until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the whole peeled tomatoes to the skillet and break them apart with a spoon. Let this simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the sliced Kalamata olives and capers for that briny kick, and let it cook for another minute.
  5. Arrange the fish fillets in the prepared baking dish and pour the aromatic tomato mixture over them.
  6. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Serve immediately, drizzled with a bit of extra olive oil.
