  • 2 cups Semi-sweet chocolate chips Use high-quality chocolate
  • ¼ cup Unsalted butter Helps create smooth consistency

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • spatula
  • 8×8-inch square pan
  • Parchment paper

Method

How to Make Fudge
  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter. Stir continuously for about 5-7 minutes until the ingredients melt and form a smooth, glossy mixture.
  2. Pour the luscious fudge mixture into an 8×8-inch square pan lined with parchment paper. Use a spatula to smooth out the top, ensuring it’s even and ready for chilling.
  3. Refrigerate the fudge for a minimum of 2 hours or until it sets completely. You’ll want to see it firm and hold its shape when removed from the pan.
  4. Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper, and cut it into small squares. Serve plain or dressed up with a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
