  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
For the Honey Butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup honey

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a muffin tin by greasing it with nonstick spray.
  2. Whisk together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Mix the milk, eggs, and melted butter in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed, avoiding overmixing.
  5. Fill each muffin cup two-thirds full with the batter.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until they're golden brown on top.
  7. Prepare the honey butter by whisking the melted butter and honey together in a small bowl.
  8. Cool the poppers slightly once out of the oven, then drizzle them with the honey butter.
