How to Make Marble Cake
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two round cake pans by greasing them.
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl until fluffy and light.
- Add the large eggs one at a time, blending in the vanilla extract with the last egg.
- In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add this mixture to your wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.
- Split the batter into two bowls and stir cocoa powder into one bowl.
- Layer the batters in the prepared pans by alternating spoonfuls of both mixtures.
- Gently swirl them together using a knife.
- Bake in your preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
