For the Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth

For the Finishing Touch

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Equipment

  • skillet
  • Baking dish

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the minced garlic for about one minute.
  3. Sear the chicken breasts until they are golden brown on both sides, approximately 4-5 minutes per side. Transfer them to the prepared baking dish.
  4. Combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, and heavy cream in the skillet. Allow it to gently bubble for a moment to create a rich sauce.
  5. Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken and sprinkle the orzo pasta on top. Mix it all together for even distribution.
  6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked through. Stir in the fresh spinach just before serving.
