Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the minced garlic for about one minute.
- Sear the chicken breasts until they are golden brown on both sides, approximately 4-5 minutes per side. Transfer them to the prepared baking dish.
- Combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, and heavy cream in the skillet. Allow it to gently bubble for a moment to create a rich sauce.
- Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken and sprinkle the orzo pasta on top. Mix it all together for even distribution.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked through. Stir in the fresh spinach just before serving.
