How to Make Mozzarella Mushroom White Wine Chicken
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking dish by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
- Sauté sliced mushrooms and minced garlic in a large skillet over medium heat with olive oil until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper, then brown each side for about 4-5 minutes in the skillet.
- Pour in the dry white wine and chicken broth, then sprinkle in the dried oregano. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Top each chicken breast with slices of fresh mozzarella cheese and cover the skillet with a lid to allow the cheese to melt.
- Transfer everything to your greased baking dish if your skillet isn't oven-safe and bake for around 20 minutes.

Notes
Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley for an extra pop of color and flavor. A meat thermometer can help ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F.
