How to Make Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape the meat mixture into golf ball-sized portions, flattening each ball slightly to place a mozzarella cube in the center and then wrap the meat around it.
- Simmer crushed tomatoes and Italian seasoning in a saucepan over medium heat for 10 minutes.
- Bake the meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet for about 20 minutes, or until un internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
- Serve the warm meatballs with a generous drizzle of the sauce on top.
