  • 2 cloves Fresh garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger minced
For the Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes optional
For the Rice
  • 1 cup Jasmine rice
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Method
 

Directions
  1. Chop chicken into bite-sized pieces; mince the garlic and ginger finely.
  2. Whisk together the orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Stir in the cornstarch until smooth.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Pour the orange sauce over the cooked chicken and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Prepare jasmine rice according to package instructions. Fluff it up once cooked.
  6. Spoon rice onto plates and generously top with the orange-glazed chicken.
