- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl until well combined.
- Mix the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Combine the dry mixture gradually with the wet ingredients, stirring until just blended. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown but the centers are still soft.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks.
