  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar sifted

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a baking pan.

  3. Mix melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract in another bowl until smooth, then combine with the dry ingredients, stirring gently.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips gently to retain their shape.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, testing with a toothpick for doneness.
  6. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, gradually adding milk to reach the desired consistency.
  7. Once cooled, spread the frosting over the bars and cut into squares. Optionally top with crushed peppermint candies.
