How to Make Puff Pastry Chocolate Hearts
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry until it’s about an eighth-inch thick.
- Place half of the heart shapes on a lined baking sheet. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of dark chocolate chips onto each heart.
- Top each filled heart with another pastry cutout and press down the edges to seal completely.
- Whisk the egg until smooth and brush it over each heart. Sprinkle granulated sugar on top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
