Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish by greasing it with nonstick spray.
  2. Brown the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, until crumbly. Drain excess fat, then add chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté for another 2 minutes until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in diced carrots, frozen peas, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Boil peeled and chopped potatoes in salted water for about 15 minutes or until fork-tender. Drain and mash with butter until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Layer the savory meat mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with the creamy mashed potatoes, spreading evenly. Bake for 25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
