How to Make Simple Apple Sage Stuffing
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and celery; sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add the diced apples, fresh sage, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Combine the sautéed mixture with the stale bread cubes in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Pour the chicken broth gradually over the bread mixture, ensuring it's evenly moistened.
- Transfer the stuffing into a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
