Biscotti Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl; set aside.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar in another bowl until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients gradually into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Shape the dough into two logs on the prepared baking sheet, flattening them to about 1 inch thick.
- Bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown. Let the logs cool slightly before slicing them diagonally into half-inch pieces.
- Return the sliced biscotti to the oven for an additional 10 minutes until crisp.
