  • 1 tbsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract

Method
 

Biscotti Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl; set aside.
  3. Cream the softened butter and sugar in another bowl until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Incorporate the dry ingredients gradually into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Shape the dough into two logs on the prepared baking sheet, flattening them to about 1 inch thick.
  6. Bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown. Let the logs cool slightly before slicing them diagonally into half-inch pieces.
  7. Return the sliced biscotti to the oven for an additional 10 minutes until crisp.
