  • 1 tbsp brown sugar balances the heat with sweetness
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce adds umami flavor
  • Salt and pepper to taste essential for seasoning

Directions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add a splash of oil and toss in the chopped onions and bell peppers. Sauté for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the lean ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for 6-8 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, along with salt and pepper, and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the tomato sauce, Sriracha, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Mix well and let simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
  5. Spoon the spicy filling onto each soft burger bun. Serve immediately.
