Preparation
- In a bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, chopped strawberries, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until completely smooth.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the creamy filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water before folding into triangles and sealing tightly.
- In a deep pan, heat enough vegetable oil to create about 1 inch of depth to 350°F (175°C) for frying.
- Carefully drop the sealed wontons into the hot oil in small batches. Fry for approximately 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the fried wontons and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Dust with powdered sugar while warm.
