Method
 

Instructions

  3. Mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract together in a bowl.
  4. Layer sliced strawberries over the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Spoon a generous amount of the cream cheese and strawberry mixture into the center of each pastry square.
  6. Brush each sealed pastry with the egg wash.
  7. Arrange the pastries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.
