  • 1 large Egg for egg wash, can substitute with milk

How to Make Strawberry Cream Cheese Heart Danishes
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) for even baking.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the puff pastry.
  3. Cut out heart shapes using a heart-shaped cookie cutter.
  4. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Gently fold in chopped strawberries into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Spoon the filling onto one half of each heart shape and fold over.
  7. Brush the tops with egg wash, then bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
