How to Make Strawberry Palmiers
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine sliced strawberries with granulated sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl; let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until it's about an eighth of an inch thick.
  4. Sprinkle sugar over one half of the rolled-out pastry and layer it with the sugared strawberries.
  5. Fold both sides of the pastry toward the center and slice into half-inch pieces.
  6. Press down each slice slightly to form the palmier shape and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
